...this movie tells the real-life story of the hardest working group you have NEVER heard of -- 'August Christopher' - and their 15-year journey as a rock band.

Edward Scott's debut film, with over 40 original songs and live performances, shows the band making a living with no management or booking agent - doing everything themselves, playing 250 shows/year, traveling in a beat-up van, pursuing their dream to become rock stars. "Decade" shows the breakdowns, tragedies, triumphs and spiritual revelations using footage spanning the band's very first show in 1998 to setting their van on fire in 2013.

August Christopher's live show was fearless. Drumset diving, playing naked, freestyle rapping and climbing speakers were only some of the antics lead singer Criss Cheatham would employ. The band opened for countless national acts and was considered to be 'the next hottest band in America' by industry execs, who would eventually lose interest when the drugs, alcohol, and constant fighting would take over.

After countless, costly efforts at fame (including a multi-media virtual concert, Guinness World Record setting feat and breaking into venues to shoot music videos), members find happiness in the free things in life - relationship with family, music, and God.
