How To Start A Record Label // HQ Familia

We speak to Yasin, the managing director of HQ Familia about how he started his record label using Record Label in Box, the artists they have signed and the obstacles he overcome in setting up.

Urban label HQ Familia was founded by Yasin El Ashrafi from his recording studio in the UK city of Leicester, with an aim to sign and showcase the most exciting emerging artists he was working with.

"There's a lot of talent that's not being heard... so we set up the label to help those people get their music out there."
