I wrote an original article a while back based on the amazing information from Gif over at Payusnomind.com Sub Gifs Channel here 👉: 👉: 👉: { https://www.youtube.com/user/Payusnomind}.

But I felt that really need to do my own research and update the article and video for the Music Distribution Companies Reviewed for 2018.

I only use Distrokid so it's the main distribution company I use, so it's the only digital distribution company with a 5-star rating.

I do highlight the pros and cons of all the music distribution sites. The pricing, the services, why I choose Distro kid, Youtube content id royalties, music promotion and CD/Vinyl printing.

Each of these sites services certain streaming websites and certain digital music stores.

But some of the core things I looked at for my own choice, was Youtube Content Id royalty rates taken, the ability to whitelist certain channels, and lowest barrier to entry.

As I have a large library of hip hop beats I didn't want to be paying for both accounts and upload limits.

Some emerging companies like symphonic distribution are really becoming big players in the digital distribution space, alongside cdbaby and Tunecore.

Songcast has its pool of independent artists and connections with online radio stations to get plays for their users.

Onerpm is the only free upload digital distributor but it takes 15% of your royalties.

Ditto music is very similar to that of what Distrokid offers but isn't very clear on SoundCloud monetization or Youtube content ID.

If you really want to learn more the best way it's using my Table and infographics to help you decide.
